My husband an I are here from Nevada visiting family. They had told us about Perky's an that we needed to try it, that the steaks are very good along with the scallops an ect. We had also heard about it from another family member who lives in Gladstone who also said we needed to try it. So we made reservations as we were told if you don't you will have a wait. An I am so glad we did. Even on a Thursday it was packed in. An from what I understand it's always packed. So We walked in an you can see them cooking your food right brhind the bar. Its very cool. The appetizers were very good we had the cheese sticks an scallops an both were very good. Cooked perfectly. We all had steaks an they were cooked perfect an the flavor was fantastic.  I can clearly see why this place has such high ratings. The desserts were also very good. I'm so glad we tried this place. Even though it's small an loud especially in the back it's with it. An don't let the looks of it full you. It's great. Highly recommended perkys to everyone in the area.

From the outside... Not very impressive... But from the inside... WOW!..

This is the kind of place you come where they know you by name... The food is amazing and it all made with lots of love... 

I had the boneless BBQ ribs... With fries and green beans 
- ribs are fall off the bone (if it was in the bone) with a touch of smokiness
- the BBQ sauce was just right with a touch of sweet and vinegar... With layers of flavor abs spice

If you are passing by and see this place you gotta stop... I believe they open up around 4pm so come hungry... The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere just right to give you that small town feeling with out of this world food... A must try

This restaurant is always packed for several reasons:

1. The seafood is well done. I was particularly impressed with the crayfish and scallops. Plump, juicy, signature.

2. They have the best green beans I have ever tasted.

3. It's five star restaurant food with a down home feel. It's what Crown Sterling should aspire to be. 

4. The beer and wine list will blow you out of the water--especially if you are familiar with Altavista. 

I heard a lot of hype, thought the decor was a little odd/off for my expectations, but I can honestly said, I was not disappointed by any of the food nor the service. 

This missing star is due to the wait if you don't have reservations.
